What to Expect
Worship Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
Our worship flow has four connected movements to guide us through our time as we focus on Praising God: We Gather, We Proclaim, We Respond, and We are Sent. These different parts of service give our worship structure while keeping it fluid and receptive to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Throughout the service, we will combine traditional and contemporary elements into our service with scripture readings, songs, videos, and other elements. Music typically comes from the UM Hymnal, The Faith We Sing, Global Praise songbooks, and contemporary sources.
In-person attendance of Sunday worship services is the best way to participate in worship. For those unable to attend, we provide a live-stream of our service through our Facebook page.
Special Services
Special Services are hosted on Christmas Eve and Easter with special music, readings, and reflections.
Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday services and celebrations are combined with our other local circuit churches and will be hosted at the various participating churches.
Circuit worship with our other local sister churches is hosted in a community setting once every 3 months. Typical locations include local parks and community buildings. Please see the most recent newsletter for location and timing.
Communion
We practice an open table at our church for communion which is served at the first Sunday of each month. As we say in our Invitation to the Table, "Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to be at peace with one another." If you can say you do or have done these three things, you are welcome to receive.
