Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Sean DelGrosso

Sean brings warmth, humor, and a deep commitment to faith as he begins his ministry with us while pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. Originally from Illinois, Sean is eager to connect with our congregation and comes to us with a background in the Lutheran tradition. He also has a dog, who you may hear about from time to time. We’re looking forward to growing in faith together and look forward to all the ways God will work through Sean in our church community.

Accountable Leadership Board Structure

Salem United Methodist Church has adopted a simplified leadership style called an Accountable Leadership Board to help maximize ministry and focus on missions.

This simplified structure allows us to:

  1. Streamline decision-making and reduce administrative burdens.

  2. Empower ministry teams to form for specific purposes and disband once their work is complete.

  3. Encourage creativity and discipleship, freeing members to vision ministry in new and inventive ways

  4. Align our work more closely with God’s mission, focusing our energy on making disciples rather than maintaining committees.

Every year our leadership board signs a covenant to hold themselves accountable to our church. See in the following links to view the the documents:
Board Covenant, Resolution for the Accountable Leadership Structure.
