Outdoor Worship

There’s something special about gathering outdoors to worship, enjoy God’s creation, and connect with one another as a church family. This summer, Salem United Methodist Church will be holding several outdoor worship services, and we invite everyone to join us!

Outdoor worship services will be held at 10:00 AM on the following Sundays (weather permitting): July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16, and August 30.

Following each outdoor service, everyone is invited to stay for a casual cookout featuring free hot dogs and veggie dogs, along with fellowship and conversation.

To help make the most of our time outdoors, we encourage attendees to bring a lawn chair for seating. Worship will include music, prayer, Scripture, and a message as we gather together in a relaxed outdoor setting.

In the event of inclement weather, worship will be moved indoors. Any weather-related changes will be announced as soon as possible through our usual communication channels.

Whether you are a longtime member, a first-time visitor, or simply looking for a welcoming place to worship this summer, we would love to have you join us. Come experience the joy of worshiping together in God's creation and sharing fellowship with the community.
