Now Casting!

Have you heard about the Twelve disciples—but do you know the many women who met, supported, and followed Jesus?

This Maundy Thursday, Salem United Methodist Church will be bringing to life the play We Met Him, a moving dramatic presentation that brings to life the often-overlooked stories of those who encountered Jesus along the way. Told through scripture, reflection, and performance, this production invites the audience to see Holy Week through new eyes and deeper understanding.

We are currently seeking actors to fill the roles of the women whose lives were transformed through Jesus. Whether you have theater experience or have never stepped on a stage before, you are welcome.

This production has always been a powerful experience not only for those who attend, but for those who take part in bringing the story to life.

We Met Him will be performed Thursday evening, April 17, 2025 (Maundy Thursday). This is a single, special performance held during one of the most meaningful weeks of the church year.

Rehearsals will begin at the end of January or beginning of February on Saturdays and/or Tuesday pending cast availability.
