Accountable Leadership Board

Salem UMC is moving forward in our mission of “Reaching Out with God’s Love and Grace” by exploring a new way of organizing our church leadership — the Accountable Leadership Board (ALB). This simplified structure will help us focus more on ministry and less on administration, empower lay leaders, and align our work with God’s vision for our church.

The ALB will:

• Streamline decision-making and reduce unnecessary meetings.

• Strengthen teamwork and accountability for our mission.

• Support our pastor and ministries with clear roles and guiding principles.

• Keep our focus on reaching people for Christ rather than maintaining committees.
