Church Groups at SUMC

Praise Power with Music Accompanist Stan Bochat is made up of singers and instrumentalists. They offer contemporary songs of praise and practice on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. See our list of tunes for at least the next month or so.

Handbells Choir plays every fourth Sunday of the month for morning service. Handbells practice on Thursdays 6:30 p.m.

Chancel Choir rotates with the other music groups and sing for communion and practice on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Check out Director Kyle Miskovic’s site for the Chancel Choir for PDF files of the music as well as recordings of the pieces and parts and other resources for the choir.

Second Fifty is a UMC Circuit program for anyone in the community that is 50 years of age or older interested in fellowship, fun, food and faith nurturing. They meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, at noon, in Strom Hall at First United Methodist Church in Kenosha. Special programs like day trips may be held instead of the regular meeting. The cost is $5.00 for the meal and program.
